Make a Difference

Ways to the Nobel Prize

In March 2012, the Nobel Museum, in collaboration with Social Initiative, opened a school exhibition in Kibaale in western Uganda. The Uganda Rural Development Training Programme (URDT) operates a girls' school here in an innovative educational effort to develop the pupils' family farms and in this way help them overcome poverty.

The exhibition Make a Difference – Ways to the Nobel Prize encourages curiosity and inquisitiveness. Nobel laureates share what inspired them as children and explain how ideas can change the world. The exhibition also includes student and teacher materials produced by the Nobel Museum in collaboration with the teachers at the girls' school.

The Nobel Museum hosts both permanent and temporary exhibitions, on the Nobel Prize, the Nobel Laureates, Alfred Nobel and related topics.
