Nobel Museum Research Library

The Nobel Museum research library is located in the basement of Börshuset. It is a reference library available to the museum staff, guest scholars, and external visitors. The collection is mainly dedicated to Alfred Nobel, the Nobel Prize, and the Nobel Laureates and their research areas. Other important subjects are museums, museology and the history of science.

The constantly growing collection is also shaped by current research and exhibition work conducted at the Nobel Museum. At the moment the library holds around 5000 items, where the vast majority is searchable through the national database of Sweden, Libris.

The Nobel Museum research library is open to the public at tuesdays between 12-15. No items may be borrowed from the library, but we participate in the swedish national interlibrary services.
